Using 3rd Person Language, Trump Tweets He’s A Victim In Russian Investigation

President Donald Trump

President Trump continues to portray himself as a victim in the Russian investigation from the U.S. intelligence community, referring to himself in third person, and is now signaling that he wants a Democrat memo that refutes claims in a Republican based “Nunes memo”, to be heavily redacted.

Although the release of the Republican “Nunes memo” in early February violated established protocols in the House Intelligence Committee and contains fragmented, incomplete information about the surveillance methods that were used on a former Trump campaign official by the U.S. intelligence community in 2016, President Trump referred to the unreleased Democrat memo on Saturday as a “very long and political response memo.”

President Trump tweeted, “The Democrats sent a very political and long response memo which they knew, because of sources and methods (and more), would have to be heavily redacted, whereupon they would blame the White House for lack of transparency. Told them to re-do and send back in proper form!”

Obstruction Of Justice Claim

Senator Richard Blumenthal (D- Connecticut) tweeted on Friday, “Refusal to release Democratic response to #NunesMemo -evidence of obstruction of justice by Donald Trump happening in real time.

Senator Blumenthal added a reply to his tweet, “This political ploy reveals the White House’s one-sided transparency. But the public sees through it.- the #NunesMemo fell with a deafening thud.”

President Trump has lately been referring to himself in third person and used that type of language yet again on Saturday when he tweeted about “Trump been vindicated in the last several weeks about the mishandling of the Dossier and the lies about the Clinton/DNC Dossier, it shows that he’s been victimized.”

“My view is that not only has Trump been vindicated in the last several weeks about the mishandling of the Dossier and the lies about the Clinton/DNC Dossier, it shows that he’s been victimized. He’s been victimized by the Obama Administration who were using all sorts of…….agencies, not just the FBI & DOJ, now the State Department to dig up dirt on him in the days leading up to the Election. Comey had conversations with Donald Trump, which I don’t believe were accurate…..he leaked information (corrupt).” Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch on @FoxNews.

U.S. Equities Under Selling Pressure Over Past 2 Weeks

After falling 10 percent from record highs just 2 weeks ago, U.S. stock indexes are entering correction territory as the yield on the 10 yr. Treasury has spiked to a 4 yr. high and expanded to over 2.8 percent on Friday amid concerns of rising inflation, an improving economy, and a possible 4th interest rate hike in 2018 from the U.S. Federal Reserve.
