Trump Tweets About Being A Genius Following Release Of New “Fire And Fury” Book

Following the new release on Friday of Michael Wolf’s new book “Fire and Fury” about President Trump’s first year in the White House that questions his competence to function as president of the country, President Trump responded by tweeting on Saturday that his two greatest assets are his mental stability and being really smart before adding he should qualify as “genius” for going from a very successful business man to top T.V. star to President of the United States on his first try.

President Trump concluded in the same tweet on Saturday that Russian collusion after one year of intense study has proven to be a “total hoax” on the American public and claimed the Democrats and fake news mainstream media are taking from the old Ronald Reagan playbook and screaming mental stability and intelligence.

Speaking at Camp David on Saturday before a group of Republican leaders, President Trump was questioned by reporters about the reason he tweeted about himself being smart and a genius.

President Trump responded that he “only went to the best colleges” and made billions and billions as a businessman and was tremendously successful.

He maintained that Michael Wolf, the author of “Fire and Fury” didn’t know or interview him, and he considers Wolf’s new book about him to be a “work of fiction.”

Later, President Trump said that his former White House Strategist Steve Bannon, whom he now refers to as “Sloppy Steve” gave Michael Wolf access to the White House when he worked alongside him in the White House.

“I guess sloppy Steve brought him into the White House quite a bit . That’s why sloppy Steve is looking for a job.”

President Trump criticized Michael Wolf’s other book about Rupert Murdoch titled, “The Man Who Owns The News” which was published in 2008.

DACA- Deferred Action For Childhood Arrivals

During his interview before reporters at Camp David, President Trump said that he hopes to work out an arrangement with Democrats over DACA and said that it is something he’d like to see happen.

DACA is the acronym for Deferred Action For Childhood Arrivals that allows children of immigrants who entered the U.S. illegally to received a 2 yr. renewable period of deferred action from deportation and to become eligible for a work permit.

On September 5, 2017 DACA was rescinded by the Trump administration although it was delayed 6 months to give Congress more time to decide how to deal with this population.
