President Trump was questioned on the South Lawn by reporters on Monday about when he found out Michael Flynn had lied to the FBI and he responded by avoiding the question and claiming that Clinton had lied to the FBI and nothing happened and said that Michael Flynn lied and they destroyed his life.
President Trump tweeted on Saturday that he fired Michael Flynn after discovering that he had lied to the FBI, a new acknowledgment from the President showing that he knew about Flynn’s lie to the FBI in January.
I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI. He has pled guilty to those lies. It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!

A month later in February, President Trump met with then FBI Director James Comey in private and asked him to pledge his loyalty and to drop the federal investigation about Flynn’s contacts with Russians.
President Trump changed course on Sunday and tweeted “I never asked Comey to stop investigating Flynn. Just more Fake News covering another Comey lie!”

Downsize of 2 Federal Monuments In Utah
After arriving in Utah on Monday and speaking before a crowd in Salt Lake City, President Trump decided to downsize two federal monuments, Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante, in the state by one million acres.
President Trump admitted that he’s come to Utah to take a very historic action to reverse federal overreach and restore the rights of this land to their citizens in a move that has angered environmentalists.
New Mexico Democratic Senator Tom Udall reacted with a tweet stating that he supports the legal fight against the attack on public lands and heritage.
In a released statement, Senator Udall said, “The President is lifting protections for thousands of Native American sites, putting them at risk, and opening them up for coal, oil and gas development.”
I stand with Bears Ears and Grand Staircase, and I support the legal fight against this attack on our public lands and heritage. #MonumentsForAll #StandWithBearsEars #SaveGrandStaircase pic.twitter.com/JUvwC5Jvke
