Recently, President Trump has decided to decertify the U.S. from the historic 2015 Iran nuclear accord.

U.S. Congress has 60 days to decide if the U.S. should reinstate sanctions on Tehran that were relieved during the 2015 nuclear accord.
A core element of President Trump’s new strategy towards Iran focuses on “neutralizing Iran’s destabilizing influence” and constraining its aggression related to its “support for terrorism and militants.”
President Trump declared that the Tehran has “taken advantage of regional conflicts and instability to aggressively expand its regional influence and threaten its neighbors with little domestic or international cost for its actions” and admitted that Tehran is trying to establish a bridge from Iran to Lebanon and Syria.
The Trump administration reported on October 13th that their Iran policy “will address the totality of these threats from and malign activities by the Government of Iran and will seek to bring about a change in the Iranian’s regime’s behavior” while placing more emphasis on reducing the influence of the Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) that was described as not accountable to the Iranian people and only answering to Supreme Leader Khamenei.
Anti-Israel Language By Iranian Leaders
Iranian FARS news agency reported today that Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei said during a Thursday morning address at a worldwide conference in Tehran that Palestine is the “most important issue within the Muslim world” and later used degrading language when describing Israel.
“We must confront the cancerous tumor of Israel” said Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei in his address.
Iran’s FARS news agency also reported that the Commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Mohammad Ali Jafari told reporters on Thursday that any new war in the region will lead to the annihilation of the Zionist regime, warned that Lebanon is Israel’s first target, and said the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance group should be armed to maintain security in Lebanon.
Recently, Lebanon has become a political flashpoint between regional Arab Sunni powerhouse Saudi Arabia and Iranian supported Shia Hezbollah.
On November 4th Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri resigned as prime minister of Lebanon while on a trip to Saudi Arabia and cited assassination fears and the growing political influence of Iranian Hezbollah in the region.
Tehran dismissed Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri’s resignation comments and claimed they are part of a plot by Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the U.S. to heighten tensions in the Middle East.
