Detectives Conclude London Car Collision Of Pedestrians Not Terrorist Related

Detectives from London Metropolitan Police have concluded late on Saturday that the car collision in London near the Natural History Museum in South Kensington resulting in 11 injuries from pedestrians wasn’t a terrorist related incident.

Police officers and London Ambulance Service found 11 pedestrians at the scene with varying injuries and 9 of them were taken to the hospital for treatment.

This included the driver of the car involved in the collision.

The majority of those injured have been released from the hospital and there are no life threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and was taken to the police station for questioning after he was treated at the hospital.

On June 3rd a van speeding on the London Bridge struck a number of pedestrians and 3 occupants of the van wearing fake explosive vests ran to the Borough Market area and began stabbing people at nearby restaurants.

Police later concluded that London Bridge incident was an Islamist terrorist attack.
