London Police Respond To New Terror Attacks On Civilians In London

Police in London are responding to at least 2 separate attacks on civilians in London Saturday evening with one confirmed killing following an incident in the London bridge area and reports of “multiple victims” following gunfire and stabbings at three separate areas of the city.

Several pedestrians were hit on the London Bridge area by a white van and police have responded to reports of stabbings in Borough Market where armed officers have responded and shots were fired, according to Sky News.

BBC reporter Holly Jones said the van was driven by a man who was probably traveling at about 50 miles an hour before it hit a number of people on London Bridge.

Police are also responding to an incident in Vauxhall in South London.

British Prime Minister Theresa May said that the terrible incident in London is being as a “potential act of terrorism.”

According to Sky News, London Transport have just declared that trains have been stopped in both directions at London Bridge station amid reports of a stabbing.

The terror attack on Saturday evening in Britain is the 2nd during the past month.

On May 22nd twenty-two year old Salmon Ramadan Abedi, a British Muslim, carried out a terrorist suicide attack outside the Manchester Arena in Manchester, Britain that killed 23 adults and children and injured 116 following an Ariana Grande concert.

Update: London Metropolitan Police reported that the stabbing incident at Vauxhall is a stabbing and isn’t connected to the other 2 incidents at London Bridge and Borough Market which are officially declared as terrorist incidents.
