Yesterday U.S. Vice President Mike Pence talked tough about dealing with North Korea’s regime and repeated President Trump’s words aboard the USS Ronald Reagan in Yokosuka City, Japan by stating that “the era of strategic patience is over” and emphasized the U.S. will work with their allies in the region to pressure North Korea until they abandon their nuclear and ballistic missile programs.

U.S. Secretary of State Tillerson’s Statement About Iran Sponsoring Terrorism and Trump Admin Is Reviewing Iran Nuclear Deal
On April 18th U.S. Secretary of State Tillerson released a statement that acknowledges that the Trump administration is undertaking a review of the Iran Nuclear deal.
In a April 18th letter to House Speaker Paul Ryan, Secretary Tillerson wrote:
“Iran remains a leading state sponsor of terror, through many platforms and methods. President Donald J. Trump has directed a National Security Council-led interagency review of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action that will evaluate whether suspension of sanctions related to Iran pursuant to the JCPOA is vital to the national security interests of the United States.”
Based on the framework of the 2015 nuclear deal between Iran and a group of world powers reached on April 2nd, Iran agreed to redesign, convert, and reduce its nuclear facilities and accept the “Additional Protocol” in exchange for lifting all nuclear related sanctions and unfreezing billions in oil assets and other assets.
