On Monday during a Asheville, North Carolina Trump rally an angry Trump supporter appeared to hit 2 protesters in the head and then slapped a woman as she was escorted out along with a group of protesters.
No arrests were made and Trump continued to speak during the violent incident.
Violence has occurred at several other Trump rallies and events.
During the Asheville rally on Monday, Trump criticized his opponent Hillary Clinton for calling half of his supporters a “basket of deplorables” at an earlier fundraising event she attended on September 9th and claimed she was running a “hate filled campaign.”
Clinton released a follow-up statement admitting that she regrets using the term “half” of Trump’s supporters as deplorables.
“That was wrong” Clinton said.
“But lets be clear, what’s really ‘deplorable’ is that Donald Trump hired a major advocate for the so called ‘alt right’ movement to run his campaign and that David Duke and other white supremacists see him as a champion of their values” Clinton added.
